1 in a million is a charity who support people who suffer from progeria. Progeria is a disease that makes you grow eight times faster than a normal human. It affects around 1 in eight million people, all of which are children. Children are usually found to have Progeria early in life. They then have a life expectancy of 15 years. 1 in a million charity help people who suffer from Progeria reach their goals and make them receive the best in life. It provides holiday camps where they can go relax, as well as their parent or carer. It makes wishes come true, such as going to a theme park or going on holiday abroad to places with suitable facilities. The charity also provides a place for sufferers to go and met other people who have got the same disease.
